Spirit Valley aus Australien ist der Inbegriff von psychodelischem Rock. Das Künstlerduo, mittlerweile in der Wahlheimat Amsterdam lebend, hat erst im letzten Sommer die neue LP ‚Negatives’ herausgebracht, die nicht selten an die ungewöhnlichen Synths von Moon Duo und an den rauen Post-Punk von Interpol erinnert. Den Auftakt des Abends gestaltet Ice In My Eyes aus Luxemburg: Die Musiker mit dem Diamanten-Logo kreieren eleganten und äußerst tanzbaren Indie-Pop. Im Wiltzer Brandbau sorgt das smarte Quattro für eine absolute Premiere: Zum ersten Mal werden sie ihr brandneues Set vor Publikum spielen – und vor Beginn der Festivalsaison auch nicht erneut präsentieren. Das neue Album wird später im Jahr herausgebracht.

Spirit Valley are an Australian two-piece based in Amsterdam made up of Dave Tomlinson and Chris Stabback, and the latest addition to sign to iconic London imprint label Fuzz Club Records. Their second LP ‘Negatives’, released August 2017, see’s their pulsing dance-floor-ready psych rock blur the line between the dark fuzz of Dead Skeletons, the warped synths of Moon Duo and the gravelly post-punk croons of Interpol or The Chameleons. Deep Pop hooklines are the trademark signs of Ice In My Eyes's music which transcend the musical hinterland charm of their homebase Luxembourg. Ice In My Eyes's first single release "Move" in summer 2013 already gave us a short taste of their sound: catchy and surprising indie-pop gems with a portion of danceyness to entertain the crowds. In 2014 Ice In My Eyes, also known as the band with the diamond crystal logo, released their first album! After successful concerts in France (including at “Transmusicales de Rennes”) the band the following year produced their second record and rocked the summer festivals (among them “Rock-A-Field”, “XPO North” and “Play Festival”)
