Jazzorwhatever!? - Day 2

Welcome to the 3rd Edition of Jazzorwhatever!?

We're back at the beautiful Brandbau, and we've been working hard to make this our best edition yet. Our commitment remains the same: to create an unmissable experience for music lovers who crave something beyond the ordinary.

This year, we're expanding with a second intimate stage in the Brandbau basement. This atmospheric space will showcase smaller setups and carefully curated DJ sets, bringing you closer to the music and the artists. Expect raw energy, experimental sounds, and those magical moments that only happen in underground venues.

Join us for a musical journey where jazz takes flight in every direction. Experience the fusion of classical melodies with contemporary beats, traditional instrumentation with electronic innovation, and smooth grooves with vibrant rhythms.

This is where genres dissolve, generations connect, and jazz reveals its infinite possibilities. Whether you're a dedicated jazz lover or simply someone who appreciates great music, Jazzorwhatever!? promises an unforgettable celebration of sound. See you at Brandbau.

LINE-UP 11.4.2026

Jose Soares & Aaron Parks (Portugal/USA)
Saxophonist José Soares and pianist Aaron Parks unite for their first-ever stage collaboration. After connecting in Amsterdam in 2019, the Portuguese rising star and one of jazz's most influential pianists bring their long-awaited project to life—a rare meeting of forward-looking musical minds.

Jambal (Luxembourg)
Luxembourg's Jambal is redefining jazz for a new generation. In 2025, they drop two projects: the Asterisk EP (born from their Propulsion residency) and Men of Average Nature with rapper Kenai Shogun—a raw collaboration years in the making. Fast, fluid, and authentically theirs.

Singülar (LUX/GER/FR)
Three virtuosos, one inexplicable magic: Schumacher, Perraud, and Studnitzky merge acoustic and electronic worlds in "Singülar." Born from spontaneous collaboration in Luxembourg, their music flows between jazz, classical, and electronics with synchronized creativity and thrilling unpredictability.

Daniel Migliosi Quartett (LUX)
Daniel Migliosi's trumpet work bridges nostalgia and now. The Luxembourg-born musician's quartet delivers swing-infused modern jazz on 'On The Edge'—his sophomore album that captures jazz's enduring vitality with skillful precision and collective energy.

Adia Vanheerentals (Belgium)
Saxophonist Adia Vanheerentals' second solo album is secretly a duo—with location itself. 'Taking Place' (Relative Pitch Records, Nov 2025) weaves inventive improvisations with the sounds of silos, chicken coops, and passing trams, creating a dialogue between instrument and environment.

Maeve Moayedi (Luxembourg) - dj set
Maeve Moayedi is a singer, composer and visual artist whose work drifts between nu jazz, soul and ambient electronic textures. Drawing on a deep connection to water and wilderness, she blends voice, field recordings and subtle rhythms into immersive, slow building songs that sit somewhere between concert, ritual and dream.
